Barclays Corporate Campus

Walker provided functional design services for two parking structures at the Barclays corporate campus in Whippany, New Jersey. Project deliverables included striping, signage location/text for vehicular and regulatory signage, and a lighting study that improved the ingress and egress patterns and assisted in locating stair-elevator towers. We also provided AutoTurn studies for key vehicular circulation, space-count, internal traffic flow, pedestrian travel delineated traffic flow, parking space count, stair and elevator core locations, and site access.

Our design improves the overall functionality for 2,150 parking spaces.

This including ingress/egress, roadway connections, geometrics, bay and stall sizes, angles and drive aisles widths. Walker’s enhancements were vital in meeting program requirements, as we identified opportunities to meet code and operational requirements with a minimal impact on design.
