Walker provided building envelope consulting services for this new mixed-use high-rise with a curved façade. The 23-story, 1.2 million square foot building contains 644 apartments and ground-floor retail space.
The building envelope systems included:
- Low-sloped roofing
- Amenity deck and planter waterproofing
- Glazing system integration with weather-resistive barriers
- Pool area waterproofing
- Tower penthouse pedestrian deck waterproofing
- At-grade waterproofing
As part of the building envelope construction phase consulting services, the Walker project team performed site visits to review contractor performance and installations. We assisted with RFI review and submittal review. Walker also provided consulting to address unexpected field conditions during construction.
