“Recipe for Success: Parking Can be the Frosting or the Fly in the City-Planning Cake.”

Congratulations and thank you to Steffen Turoff for his recent article entitled, “Recipe for Success:  Parking Can be the Frosting or the Fly in the City-Planning Cake.”  This article appeared in the Spring 2014 issue of TM&E, Transportation Management and Engineering magazine.  The article advocates for cities to handle on-street parking with care and leave it to an experienced parking planning professional, instead of simply treating it as an afterthought.  On-street parking is a limited and valuable resource and the proper use of prime on-street spaces is to make sure these are turning over.
